JCAC Team 5C Field Trip
The 5th-grade teachers of Team 5C at Johnson Crossing Academic Center are requesting $1,095.00 for a grant titled "Field Trip to Kiewit Luminarium." This funding will allow all of their students to enjoy a hands-on, educational experience at the Luminarium, which features over 100 exhibits related to science and art. The teachers emphasize that this trip provides an opportunity that many of their students would not otherwise have, allowing children from all backgrounds to participate in a fun day of learning. The experience is designed to connect with all curricular areas for the 5th-grade level, and students will write reflections about their visit upon returning to school.
